At the beginning, Mike worked patiently with us as we explained what we wanted. He educated us on siding differences, pros and cons, including areas where we could save cost without compromising a quality look. Mike made the process easy and was incredibly helpful. Things to know about Mike and his guys.
1. They work exceptionally clean, always picking up at the end of the day. The team would walk the yard to pick up any waste, including sweeping of our patio and driveway. They were also very careful around our plantings which is no easy trick. At times, they would have to put stacks of material or tools on the front lawn, but never for long. Our beautiful lawn went unscathed from start to finish, which we really appreciated.
2. Lori and I both think they are more artists than contractors. The precision on lines and cuts were incredible with literally no gaps to be found. No glue drippings, smudge markings or dented sheets. At the end of the workday, Mike would walk us around to inspect the progress. We came to recognize that they take great pride in their work and man does it show.
3. They attacked the job in a very logical and well sequenced manner. It was fun to watch the project come to life. These guys are really smart.
4. Mike gave us a schedule up-front and stuck to it, with a few minor adjustments along the way which he ran by us in advance.
5. Throughout the install, they had to position a dumpster and their tool trailer in our driveway, making it a one lane entrance/exit. Whenever we needed to run out for something, the guys would drop what they were doing and run over to move their pick-up truck out of the way. They were so courteous and attentive, which is not necessarily the case with many contractors.
6. Their pricing was very fair and competitive compared to others we received quotes from. No surprise upcharges, fees or last-minute increases.
7. Final Product: We live right on Wisconsin Avenue in Oconomowoc and consequently have a lot of walkers stroll by. People will stop to say how beautiful our house looks. Our neighbors have all commented on the beautiful job Mike and his team created.
